Nutmeg Spiced Waffles With Caramelized Banana

Mix the sugar and chilled milk and whisk to dissolve.

Break the eggs and beat in the milk and sugar mixture little at a time.

Sieve the flour, KEYA TRAVANCORE NUTMEG powder and baking powder together and fold it in the liquid mix.

Apply little butter on a moderated heated waffle iron pour the mixture little at a time to form the desired shape. Close the waffle iron and cool for 8 to 10 minutes.

For making caramelized banana, slit the banana in half.

Put little sugar in nonstick pan and allow caramelizing. Put the banana in and briefly toss to give a caramel coat. Remove and slice on a slant.

Serve with maple syrup and chocolate or berry sauce.

  • Milk 1900 ml
  • Baking powder 110 gms
  • Sugar 700 grams
  • Butter 200 gms
  • Ripen yet firm Banana 12 nos
