Preparation

Heat the milk and set curd.
2Hang the curd in a muslin cloth and remove all the whey from it.
3Take as much sugar as the solid i.e. “chakka” that one gets after the whey has been removed.
4Then add saffron, cardamom and nutmeg to it.
5Mix the shrikhand well till the sugar dissolves or pass it through a sieve.
6Garnish it with roasted charoli nuts.
7Shrikhand is ready to be served and eaten with hot, fresh poories.
