Vangi Bath

Preparation

Take 500 gmsof cooked rice in a vessel , add a pinch of turmeric and 1 teaspoon each of salt, sugar and lemon juice.

Add 15 gms of KEYA VANGIBATH POWDER . Mix well and keep it aside.

Heat oil in a vessel, add mustard seeds, gram dal and cashewnuts ( optional ), fry until the dal turns golden brown.

Add 300 gms of Brinjal or Capsicum and fry well. Add a pinch of turmeric, 1 teaspoon salt and lemon juice to this mix. Add 15 gms of KEYA VANGIBATH POWDER and mix well to make a masala

To the vegetable masala, add the prepared rice and mix well.

Serve hot.

  • Cooked Rice - 500 gms
  • Brinjal / Capsicum - 300 gms
  • Cooking Oil - 15 ml
  • Turmeric Powder - 5 gms
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Channa Dal
  • Lemon Juice - 10 ml
  • Sugar - 5 gms
  • Salt - 10 gms 
  • Cashewnut (optional)
  • Keya Vangi Bath Powder - 30 gms
